Kevin McCall is President and CEO of both Paradigm Properties and Paradigm Capital Advisors. Mr. McCall provides leadership and oversees both companies with particular emphasis on strategy, client relations, new investments, asset and portfolio management, and raising capital.

Mr. McCall has over 30 years of direct real estate experience on both the street and capital sides of the industry with specific expertise in structured and direct investing as well as real estate operations and development.

Before forming Paradigm Properties in 1997, Mr. McCall served as a Managing Director at Aldrich, Eastman & Waltch, L.P. (now AEW Capital Management, L.P.), an institutional investment management firm. In that capacity, he was responsible for overseeing all equity investment and asset management activity for over $5 billion of client capital invested in over $10 billion of property across property type, capital structure, and U.S. markets. He directly managed several client portfolios and was responsible for numerous asset restructurings and repositionings during the recession of the early 1990’s. During that period, Mr. McCall led the firm’s investment and asset management work with the Resolution Trust Corporation, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and other banks and financial institutions in which AEW acquired and/or fee-managed large portfolios of non-performing loans and Real Estate Owned (REO). Prior to joining AEW, Mr. McCall was a Partner and Senior Vice President of Spaulding and Slye Company, a regional development and real estate services firm.

Mr. McCall is deeply committed to issues of civic engagement, youth leadership, and social justice in our urban communities. He is the Founder and Board Chair of Building Impact, a growing 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides an innovative model for community involvement to individuals and companies in over 50 Boston-area office and apartment properties. He also serves as Board Vice-Chair of Hearth, Inc., whose mission is the elimination of elder homelessness.

Professionally, he is a full member of the Urban Land Institute, a Director of Town Sports International Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: CLUB), and past Board Chair of NAIOP Massachusetts.

Mr. McCall holds a B.A. from Harvard University and an M.B.A. from Harvard University School of Business Administration. He served as a LeadBoston Fellow in 1993-94.
