Ten years ago, Paradigm set out to create a paradigm shift in the management of commercial property. Focusing on the landlord-tenant relationship, we began the process of applying the traditional marketing concepts of customer segmentation and product differentiation to our management efforts in order to create the ultimate building/tenant match.
In simpler terms, we devoted our energies to 1) better understanding the needs of our markets’ prospective tenant population and 2) meeting those needs in ways our competitors were not.
Our experiment was a success, and has paid off ever since through high occupancy rates, high tenant retention rates, and lower operating overhead due to our ability to better manage tenant expectations, efficiently communicate our own expectations to our tenants, and anticipate property management issues before they become problems. As a result, we now enjoy a reputation that enables us to differentiate Paradigm managed buildings from other competitive buildings.

Managerial Expertise with an Investor’s Perspective
Paradigm Properties was first formed as a private commercial real estate investor and operator to acquire, develop, and manage heavily multi-tenanted office buildings.
Headed by a team of principals who had operated in a fiduciary capacity for some of the largest institutional real estate investors and brokerage firms in the country, the company rapidly acquired a building a portfolio of over 1.5 million square feet of commercial property. Through managing, renovating, and maintaining its own portfolio of buildings, Paradigm built and cultivated a management team with the experience and know-how to enable the company to grow into a full-service real estate management firm.
Given our perspective, we will always view real estate as an investment and, therefore, always be focused on finding ways to make it perform to its highest potential.
The asset and property management team we use to manage our own properties is the same that handles our clients’ properties. We make no distinction between the quality of service we provide ourselves and that which we offer to our clients.
Team Approach
Property management at Paradigm is a team effort that involves active participation at all levels of our company from our tenant liaisons and property managers to our accountants and principals.
Communication is the key to our efforts, allowing us to keep all team members well informed of property conditions and activity through weekly, monthly, and quarterly property reviews, updates, and meetings. This enables us to anticipate issues before they occur and be both proactive and expeditious in our approach to problem solving and meeting customer needs.
